Condemned

Him they condemned to hang,
Till he died.
As if they were the Father Gods,
Of the Mount,
As if themselves were never to die.

The serial killer he was,
Deranged, dangerous.
His victims he stalked,
night and day.
They drank, they laughed,
Nearby, he lurked.
A mouse under beastly jaws,
In a blink they died.

Contemplating death, his own,
As it arrive by moments, clock ticks,
Hour glass drain empty.
A smile froze before it reached his lips,
As it always did for him.

The ecstasy he sought,
As he executed his art, perfect they agree,
The ecstasy that eluded always;
Awaited; A few moments away,
At the executioner’s noose.
He walks.

Justice poetic.
