And you looked away

Butterflies fluttered up in the garden as you stepped out,
You looked at the watch.
Snow flakes soft fell silently in your heart,
You cursed where you left the sweater.
Rain storm conjured up a boisterous symphony outside,
You worried about clothes getting wet.
Little girl stumbled in sleepy wishing for father’s warmth,
You coaxed her to sleep in her room.

And now as you lie awaiting and the end looms,
The sun sets in the west, slipping silently to the sea.
Why do you fret about moksha ?
Bid adieu to the sun.
Let the soul live one moment more,
Before it leaves.
