Confident, Firm

‘Confident, Firm’ the White board screamed,
Her easy grace drowned that scream.

The minute blemishes of her face,
They brush away,
Hair tied to a pony tail, she rise,

A candy she threw in the air,
And caught with her mouth,
An eagles’ dexterity.

Nonchalantly she walked across,
As if oblivious of the cameras.
A Lioness in her territory.

Someone said start,
She turned sharp, on the face.
Cameras started and flashed away.

She switch poses, Now a vulnerable doe,
Then a predatory owl and again devil may care.
A cutter fish changing colors.

Her job done, she smiles and waves,
Catching the wind in her hair and gait,
She leaves.

‘Confident, Firm’ the White board screamed,
Her easy grace drowned that scream.
